It is an exhibition by artists under the age of 40 who　 belong at the Kyoto Print Exhibition Executive Committee. Now that the closing of the committee has been decided, we would like to think about how our prints will evolve from hereafter in each.

2019年5月14日にご逝去された名誉教授黒崎彰先生の長年のご尽力に感謝し、黒崎彰先生の作品を中心とした展示を企画します。また、ご指導いただいた木版画ゼミ生の作品も同時に展示をします。

Emeritus professor Akira Kurosaki who passed away on May 14, 2019. Thank you so much for making efforts for Printmaking and paper art and Kyoto Seika university.

We planed an exhibition centering on the work of Emeritus professor Akira Kurosaki and works of graduated student were exhibiting at the same time.

The Kyoto Hanga International Print Exhibition

Japan and Australia 2019

The exhibition showcases the diversity and dynamism of printmaking in all its forms from Australia and Japan. The exhibition features artists associated with two leading organisations: the Kyoto Hanga Executive of Western Japan and the Print Council of Australia.

Accompanying the exhibition is an extensive program of printmaking workshops.

To coincide with the exhibition, the University of the Sunshine Coast will host the Kyoto Hanga International Print Symposium: Japan and Australia 2019 on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September.

DATES: Thursday 19 Sep. to Sunday 10 Nov.

Tuesday to Friday, 10.00am–4.00 pm
